So, if you also are put off by the appearance of a humanoid hippopotamus dressed in a trench coat, th Hip Flask, one of the main characters of Elephantmen, has been around for over a decade now, and the first images I saw did not immediately appeal to me.
However, I just don’t buy that normal women, even in the year or whenever would want to shack up with anthropomorphic Elephants and Rhinos. I am looking forward to the next volume.
I liked how th I’d not heard of Elephantmen before but I came across this on the sale rack at Waterstones and was intrigued. This is a dark and painful but beautiful story.
Books by Richard Starkings. Many of the Elephantmen were assigned jobs by the government. Elephantmen Revised and Expanded Volume 1. Showing of 15 reviews. It is evident that the Elephantmen themselves show some level of regret towards what they did during the conflict.
The artwork is striking but a couple of the issues’ have some wobbly line work, which is somewhat odd given the excellent design and sumptuous colouring. All in all, a great read.

Though Obediah is dead sexy in his suits. Aside from the writing, the book has tons of great artistry throught-out this book.
The This is a five star story with five star art. Heavy paper, thick, nicely designed – it’s a wonderful book to hold and look at.
Ebony Hide is one of them, an Elephantman. So was it worth buying again? By that point any hype had died down – the comic was and is a steady elelhantmen in the schedules, Starkings unrolling his future world with patience and care.
