Statistically, none of these races are any different from the other; nor is any information provided as to any cultural differences with the sole exception that Bone Men are particularly shunned by other races and Jale Men are said to be more adept at sorcery than the others though again, neither of these rp are in any way matched with any mechanical basis. February 16, at Been a while since I thought about this and the players noped out of Carcosa pretty quick so we didn’t get to see any of it in action: I think later this spring the books will be available through US distributors. The Dreamlands could cracosa people hints and hope, or at least a change of pace.

I’d rather have a single page on fit-to-screen and not have to squint. I have toyed for the last year or so of checking out Carcosa the first and perhaps only OSR product I would actually buyand don’t mind the hopelessness and all.
All spells are in the form of rituals rpt some kind or another; these are divided into various types: The Old Ones and their minions will in my mindover a long period of time, get blown away by men armed to the teeth.
That’s rog as much as I can remember. We’re going to re-do the PDF so it displays as single pages. These are only roughly statted out in some cases not even detailing what type of damage they do with attacks and given brief descriptions, but they’re complete enough that they could be usable by any OSR GM worth his salt.
Are you not aware that the provided map shows only a small part of the world? Each of these rituals are then applied to specific individual entities, and on some occasions require very specific material components with the specificity varying from needing a gem worth x gold pieces to needing some ingredient found only in one particular hex of the map.

As a fan of the original digest version, I look forward to the new version of this setting! He said that if he were to power-game as a player in Carcosa he’d play a sorceror, but only use the banishment rituals. Then I understood how it could carxosa so gonzo without being cartoonish.
