I couldn’t go on I must admit that I picked up this book despite reading the reviews by other readers on Good Reads.

But The Krishna Key, misses the point somewhere. First of all, you not only learn so much about Indian literature but the Mahabharata and the whole Krishna legend has been easily explained in here. The author has just Indianized Da Vinci Code and off course in disrespectful way. I tried to ask the questions that can churn out something practical and realistic advice for young Indian writers…. Even the so-called “mob boss” knows the ins and outs of Krishna’s escapades, as well as detailed info on nuclear transmutations!!!!!

All in all however, it is an entertaining read, even for people with prior understanding of Indian history and culture. Each character is well-defined and yes they do tend scatter here and there but the pace of the story makes up for it.

If you have aashwin Dan Brown, perhaps you may feel pity for the author and his attempt. It is the eternal quest for the next earth-shattering premise that keeps my creative juices flowing. Sanghi has surely done a lot of research and he has lot more to tell. The writing is awful.
