A book that really touched me and from now on will have a special place in my heart. McCaffrey’s love for music shines through. The theme of this book shows young readers to pursue what your heart is telling you.

I didn’t expect it to go THIS fast, and in looking back I’m not sure what it is about the story – pretty low on action – that kept me racing through it, devouring the pages and unable to get myself to do anything else from beginning to end except sleep, and that only mccaffrey my eyes were too heavy to continue. Menolly is born to Half Circle Hold, and is hugely out of place. Mavi treats it, but informs Menolly that her hand has been crippled as a result, and she will likely never play music again. Also, this is some bland-ass prose. When her stern dragonaong denied Menolly’s destiny, she fled Half-Circle Sea Hold just as Pern was struck again by the deadly danger of Threadfallthe killing ropes of death that fall from a nearby star.
